Rosanne's Bio
I’m a Kiwi/Canadian, born near Wellington, New Zealand, raised in Canada and a Supermom of 2 fabulous boys. I’ve had the greatest experience growing up living an active outdoorsy lifestyle involving sailing, windsurfing, skiing, running, gymnastics & biking. The athletes shown in Oxygen and fitness magazines have always inspired me and I share their passion for health and fitness. In 2007 I decided to approach weight training and figure because I wanted to build muscle to my petite frame, which would also enhance my game in my other athletic goals. The opposite of most women, I had trouble keeping weight on. After attending a few figure shows, I hired a trainer and set a goal to compete in 2008, as I was almost 40 and thought I should just go for it! I am ecstatic to have placed among the top 3 in two Ontario Physique Association regional shows and am moving forward to compete at the Ontario Championships in June, 2009; this time enlisting the expertise of Darrin Robinson at Emerge Lifestyle and Fitness. Since working with Darrin I have gained so much useful training & nutritional knowledge, which will no doubt last a lifetime. I’m looking forward to experiencing another great year.
I hope that I can inspire others to take charge and lead a rewarding healthy lifestyle. You CAN do it!
