About the Hybrid Fighting Method™
Hybrid Fighting Method™ (HFM) evolved from a series of combat methodologies to give you what we believe to be one of the most efficient, no-nonsense, and easily performed combative systems available today.
Not only does HFM extract and modify techniques and principles from a variety of effective combative systems (Krav Maga and other Israeli and reality-based systems, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Boxing), but it is also forged from years of street fight experience - giving it modern urban combat authenticity.
Innovations regarding new and existing techniques are examined - and if found congruent with the philosophy of HFM - are integrated into the system. This makes HFM an open and evolving system that has its finger on the pulse of modern day violent attacks.
In Hybrid Fighting Method™, you will learn:
- How to defeat any attackers (including multiple attackers) including assailants armed with guns, knives, sticks, bottles, bats, etc.
- How to control or incapacitate your opponent immediately - irrespective of their size, strength, or martial arts experience.
- How to execute essential and straightforward moves that can save your life.
HFM Principles
- Defend yourself in the quickest and safest way possible. Techniques are designed to end the confrontation quickly, with as little damage done as possible to the defender.
- Target weak points on your attacker. Techniques are designed to maximize damage to the attacker, irrespective of size, strength, or martial arts experience – with the least amount of effort required from the defender.
- Keep it simple. Techniques are designed to keep you alive – not to look fancy.
- Use anything you can in your surrounding environment as a weapon. Try to equalize the situation.
- If unable to escape, and if diplomacy fails – there are no rules.
HFM teaches that violence is rarely the answer. However, when it IS the answer, it is the ONLY answer. The HFM practitioner maintains that each human being is a “survival machine”. As such, the HFM practitioner combines dedicated practice while developing a warrior mindset. This mind-body connection is crucial to HFM’s effectiveness – for survival of an attack does not lie in the accumulation of techniques alone, but in the forging of the entire being into a human weapon. It is because of this that HFM also puts a strong emphasis on helping its practitioners gain a level of fitness, regardless of how out-of-shape they are at the onset.
