At Emerge we try to cover every aspect of getting you to look and feel your best. We also try to meet every body’s budget by providing basic training to our top of the line Lifestyle packages.
2/3/4 Day Split Routine Programs:
These are 2, 3 or 4 day routines that are designed for you and you are educated on how to perform each exercise and train each muscle group properly one on one with your trainer. Each routine has a corresponding amount of sessions (2 days split = 2 sessions, 4 day split = 4 sessions), each session is 50 minutes in length.
These routines are designed to maximize recovery times of muscles so that you never over train and continue to make gains. Generally these routines are for more experienced trainees since these sessions do not provide us enough time in order to get you up to speed on the intensity level you should be working at in order to reach your full potential.
One on One Training:
These are sessions 50 minutes in length and are just you and your trainer. They are sold in single sessions or packages of 20 or more. One on one training is the best way to get the most effective workout when at the gym. When you purchase a package of sessions a program will be designed specific to your goal, when buying just one session at a time you are basically getting 50 minutes with a trainer to cover whatever it is that you wanted to work on for that session. Single sessions are mainly for experienced trainees that wish to get an extra little kick out of a specific workout or be shown a few new things, again new trainees should buy larger packages to get the most out of the sessions.
Group Training:
Group training follows the same explanation as one on one training sessions only group training consist of a trainer and more than one client, it could be 2 or 10. The advantage to these sessions are that you will save some money on the session cost, the more clients at a time the lower the cost per session.
However, these sessions are only for clients with the same goal and experience or fitness level. If each person is not at the same level or working on the same goal all involved will not receive the results that they would when training one on one.
Sport Specific Training:
Sport Specific training is exactly that, a routine is put together based on the style of sport you are looking to improve your performance in. The training sessions are again 50 minutes in length and are one of one with a trainer. With our sport specific training we improve agility, explosiveness, strength, balance, reflexes and endurance. Each program is different as each sport is different.
We have trainers experienced in training athletes for Football, Hockey, Basketball, Golf, Racquet Sports, Lacrosse, Bodybuilding, Baseball, Soccer, ect.

Body Composition Testing:
Body composition testing is finding out the amount of fat mass, lean mass and water mass that you have. This is the only true way to find out if you are at a healthy weight for your frame. The Body Mass Index that is used by most fitness or health professionals is an inferior way to see if you are at a healthy weight. Many lean athletes will have a body mass index that shows them as overweight or obese since they carry more muscle than the average person.
We use a state of the art electric impedance machine as well as skinfold calipers in order to obtain you true body fat percentage. This will tell us if you are lean, athletic, good health standard, overweight, or obese. You don’t have to be 400lbs to be obese, for most men a body composition in the high 20s means they are obese and a woman in the high 30s is obese. You can have these numbers without weighing very much at all and have all the same health risks as that 400lb person.
We use body composition testing on all of our clients to ensure that they are losing body fat while maintaining or building muscle when going through our program. This is the only way we can get the information we need in order to access the clients progress. Just because the scale doesn’t move doesn’t mean the clients body composition isn’t changing.
If you are training on your own and want to know if you are losing muscle or fat you should get your body composition tested at least once per month.
Custom Meal Plans:
We design custom meal plans to help you reach your goals, be it losing fat, gaining muscle or increasing athletic performance. All our meal plans are specific to the individual and their body weight, body composition, level of activity, food likes and dislikes, and of course their goal. They include meals that are designed for days you workout as well as days you do not workout. They also include educational material that teaches you why you are eating the way you are.
Generally if you require a meal plan it is because the way you eat right now does not make you look or feel the way you want to. Therefore we have to educate you on how to eat for the rest of your life as your present diet does not work for you. You will learn everything you need to know about proteins, carbohydrates, fats as well as meal timing and frequency. We take you step by step through how the diet is created so you understand why you are eating as many calories as you are, basically you have all the info to create a meal plan for anyone else down the road or how to modify yours if your goals change.
In Home Lifestyle Coaching:
This service is generally for clients that are involved in our Emerge Lifestyle or clients that are following an Emerge meal plan. We offer a service where we will come into your home and inspect your kitchen pantry and refrigerator and educated you on the good foods you have as well as the bad. From there we will put together a shopping list of foods you are going to require in order to maintain you new lifestyle. At this point we go to the grocery store and purchase these items as well as educated you on how to read labels and make better choices between similar products.After shopping we come back to your home and start to cook some foods to make your new lifestyle easier. As well, we will show you a few different ways to prepare your meals to keep variety in your diet and help you stay on track.
This service will usually take around 4-5 hours and you will learn how to make your new lifestyle so easy and tasty.
